Exciting news for NFCSOS!

We’re thrilled to welcome former San Diego Charger Girl, Kyra Randall as the new Chapter Administrator for the NFCSOS San Diego Chapter!

San Diego’s Chargers cheerleading history goes back more than 60 years. In the 1960s, local high school cheer groups performed at Chargers home games. By the 1970s, the Chargers had a dedicated cheerleading squad, which was disbanded in 1978.

After a 12-year break, the Charger Girls were formed in 1990 and became a fixture on the Chargers sidelines for decades, representing San Diego through the team’s final season here in 2016. When the Chargers moved to Los Angeles in 2017, the Charger Girls went with them.

That’s generations of women and a whole lot of history, friendships and memories. The official San Diego chapter may have ended, but the sisterhood doesn’t have to.

Through NFCSOS, former Chargers cheerleaders have an opportunity to reconnect, build new friendships and, most importantly, give back to the community through volunteer work and service.

We’re so excited to have Kyra leading the charge and bringing these generations of women together for a brand-new chapter!
