     Exciting news for NFCSOS!

We’re thrilled to welcome former San Diego Charger Girl, Kyra Randall as the new Chapter Administrator for the NFCSOS San Diego Chapter! ⚡️

San Diego’s Chargers cheerleading history goes back more than 60 years. In the 1960s, local high school cheer groups performed at Chargers home games. By the 1970s, the Chargers had a dedicated cheerleading squad, which was disbanded in 1978. ✨

After a 12-year break, the Charger Girls were formed in 1990 and became a fixture on the Chargers sidelines for decades, representing San Diego through the team’s final season here in 2016. When the Chargers moved to Los Angeles in 2017, the Charger Girls went with them. ✨

That’s generations of women and a whole lot of history, friendships and memories. The official San Diego chapter may have ended, but the sisterhood doesn’t have to. ✨

Through NFCSOS, former Chargers cheerleaders have an opportunity to reconnect, build new friendships and, most importantly, give back to the community through volunteer work and service. ✨

We’re so excited to have Kyra leading the charge and bringing these generations of women together for a brand-new chapter! ✨

Welcome to the NFCSOS family, Kyra! We can’t wait to see all the good San Diego does together! ⚡️

Since launching earlier this year, National Football Cheerleaders Spirit of Service (NFCSOS) has been building a nationwide community of former professional football cheerleaders united by a shared commitment to service.

Now, we’d like to officially introduce the women helping lead that mission.

Our 2026 Board brings together four former NFL cheerleaders who share a passion for giving back, strengthening the lifelong bonds within our alumni community, and creating opportunities for former cheerleaders across the country to make a difference together.

    Maria Kutscher — Chair
    Pati San Roman-Ball — Vice-Chair
    Kim Espinosa — Treasurer
    Christina Vold — Director

Together, our Board is focused on growing NFCSOS nationally, supporting the development of local chapters, creating meaningful volunteer and charitable initiatives, and providing grants to help young people participate in cheer and dance programs.

    And we’re just getting started.

We look forward to bringing together former professional football cheerleaders from teams across the country to reconnect, serve, and use the spirit that once brought us to the sidelines to make an impact far beyond them.

Our spirit continues. Our service makes a difference. ❤️

What an unforgettable week at the 2026 National Football Cheerleaders Alumni Organization Reunion in Miami! ☀️

Hundreds of former NFL cheerleaders from across the country came together to reconnect, celebrate lifelong friendships, make new ones, laugh, dance and create even more incredible memories. ❤️

So grateful to the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Alumni for hosting such an amazing reunion and bringing our NFL cheerleading family together.

Even more meaningful, this incredible event supported two wonderful nonprofit organizations: the Dan Marino Foundation and the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.

There really is something special about this sisterhood. Different teams, different eras, but when we come together, it feels like one big family.

    United and Forever Strong! ❤️

The countdown to the 2026 NFCAO Reunion in Miami is underway, and NFCSOS is excited to celebrate the sisterhood that continues to connect former NFL cheerleaders across generations.

While NFCSOS is not affiliated with the NFCAO, we are proud to support the charitable causes its members contribute to and champion. The reunion is a wonderful opportunity for former cheerleaders to reconnect, celebrate their shared experiences, and continue the tradition of giving back.

This Year, Members of the NFCAO will Support…

    The Dan Marino Foundation
Dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities by creating opportunities and providing resources that promote independence and inclusion.

    The Guy Harvey Foundation
Committed to ocean conservation, scientific research, and education aimed at protecting our oceans and marine ecosystems for future generations.

These causes reflect the spirit of service that has always been an important part of the cheerleading community. From the sidelines to our communities, the bonds formed through cheerleading continue to inspire us to make a difference.

    The Sisterhood Continues

A reunion is about more than looking back. It's about celebrating the friendships, memories, and experiences that have lasted long after our time in uniform, and finding new ways to make an impact together.

At NFCSOS, we believe sisterhood doesn't end when the uniform comes off. It continues through friendship, mentorship, service, and a commitment to supporting one another and the causes that matter to our members.

As we prepare for the 2026 NFCAO Reunion, we're looking forward to celebrating that sisterhood and supporting the meaningful work being done in our communities and beyond.

Together, we remember. Together, we reconnect. Together, we give back.

Stay tuned for more updates as we get ready for the 2026 reunion!

On May 30, members and supporters of the National Football Cheerleaders Spirit of Service (NFCSOS) came together in Huntington Beach for a beach cleanup in partnership with the Surfrider Foundation.

What started as a morning of picking up trash along the shoreline became a meaningful opportunity to reconnect, serve our community, and make a positive impact on a place that brings so much joy to so many.

As former NFL cheerleaders, we know the importance of teamwork, community, and showing up for something bigger than ourselves. Our May 30 cleanup was a natural extension of those values. Working alongside the Surfrider Foundation, we helped remove litter and debris from the beach while raising awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and coastal communities.

But the day was about more than cleaning the beach. It was about sisterhood through service.

NFCSOS was created to bring former football cheerleaders together in a spirit of friendship, leadership, mentorship, and giving back. Events like this allow us to continue those traditions while creating new memories and new opportunities to serve together.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and to the Surfrider Foundation for the important work they do to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and made a difference.

This is what the spirit of service is all about, which is coming together, giving back, and leaving our communities better than we found them.

Together, We Cheer. Together, We Serve. Together, We Make a Difference.

As NFCSOS continues to build momentum following our official launch earlier this month, we are proud to share highlights from a truly unforgettable evening of service in Orange County.

On Saturday, April 18th, members of the NFCSOS Orange County Chapter participated in the Under the Stars event hosted at First Christian Church of Huntington Beach.  Four of our alumni volunteered their time to support an extraordinary night designed to celebrate individuals with disabilities in a joyful, prom-style setting.

The evening was reminiscent of Night to Shine, a nationwide initiative known for honoring individuals with special needs through unforgettable prom experiences. While this event was independently hosted, it carried the same spirit—centered on inclusion, dignity, and celebration.

Guests arrived to a red carpet welcome, complete with cheers, music, and a sense of excitement that set the tone for the night. Inside, the atmosphere was filled with dancing, laughter, and connection, as participants enjoyed a fully hosted prom experience designed just for them.

The evening culminated in a beautiful and meaningful moment—each guest was recognized as a King or Queen, reinforcing a powerful message: that every individual deserves to be celebrated, valued, and seen.

For our NFCSOS volunteers, the impact was just as profound. Events like this are at the heart of our mission—bringing together professional football cheerleader alumni to serve, uplift, and create meaningful moments within our communities.

This marks one of our first official service efforts as a newly launched organization, and it sets the tone for what’s ahead. We look forward to continuing to build the NFCSOS community through service, connection, and purpose-driven events across Orange County and beyond.

    ❤️

At National Football Cheerleaders Spirit of Service (NFCSOS), we believe that the spirit of cheerleading doesn’t end when the uniform comes off...it evolves.

For decades, professional football cheerleaders have embodied teamwork, leadership, dedication, and community pride. Long after their time on the sidelines, many alumni share a common desire: to stay connected and continue making a meaningful difference.

NFCSOS was created to turn that shared passion into action.

    From Spirit to Service

Our mission is simple, yet powerful — to unite former professional football cheerleaders across the country through service, connection, and impact.

What began as a vision is now becoming a growing national movement. NFCSOS provides a platform for alumni to:

    • Reconnect with one another in a meaningful way
    • Serve their local communities through organized volunteer efforts
    • Collaborate on national initiatives that create lasting change
    • Step into leadership roles and help build something bigger than themselves

Orange County: Our First Chapter Launch

We are proud to officially launch our Orange County Chapter, marking the first step in our nationwide expansion.

This chapter represents more than a geographic location — it sets the foundation for what NFCSOS stands for:

    • Local community outreach and volunteerism
    • Strong alumni connections and support networks
    • Leadership development through chapter and event roles
    • A shared commitment to making an impact

The Orange County Chapter will serve as a model as we continue to expand into cities across the United States, with a goal of building a network of chapters that bring together thousands of alumni.

    What’s Next

As we grow, this News & Updates section will serve as your inside look at everything happening within NFCSOS.

    Here, we’ll share:

    • New chapter launches across the country
    • Upcoming events and volunteer opportunities
    • Stories of impact from our members and communities
    • Partnership announcements with organizations we support
    • Milestones as we continue to expand our reach

This is where you’ll see the real impact of our collective efforts, not just in words, but in action.

    Join the Movement

Whether you’re reconnecting with former teammates or looking for a new way to give back, there is a place for you here.

We invite all alumni to become official members of NFCSOS and be part of this growing community.
